Lúna and Saanvi Ásgeirsdóttir had purchased their Riverside Roost in Willow Creek with the thought it would only be the two of them in their family. However, tragedy fell on Saanvi’s estranged sister and her husband, leaving her with three orphaned nieces and an orphaned nephew. Saanvi and Lúna immediately agreed to take in the children, despite having a house designed for little more than two; a home renovation later, the unexpected arrivals were able to come home to a family home.
Cherry Creations is the hot new design studio in Magnolia Promenade, settled on the aptly-named Preeminent Domain. Designer Pepper Cherry shares this building with her receptionist, Karl Hedges. With the expansion of Cherry Creations into their new offices, Pepper also has space for part-time maintenance and gardeners to care for the grounds and her luxurious new arboretum. This new office building showcases Pepper’s personal taste, as well as her adherence to the motto, “Stay weird, my friends.”

Nisse are Norwegian ancestral spirits who have an appearance similar to garden gnomes. They’re a holdover from the days of ancestor worship, and they’re often thought to be the spirit of the first farmer to develop the land of a homestead.
